BPA Contributes to Busan Port Community... Commended by Busan Community Chest of Korea
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Junseok) received a commendation from the Busan Community Chest of Korea on the 9th for its continued contributions to the local community near the port.
Every year, BPA supports welfare facilities and low-income residents in the port area by providing necessary goods and Onnuri gift certificates.
In addition, BPA has installed and supported the operation of 16 "BPA Hope Pantries," which are community refrigerators, at welfare centers and administrative welfare centers in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions, striving for mutual growth with the community and contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing.
BPA Executive Vice President Hong Sungjun said, "As a leading public institution in Busan that has grown with the understanding and cooperation of local residents, BPA will continue to fulfill its social responsibilities for the community."
