Eligible participants are elementary (grades 3 to 6) and first-year middle school students from 14 cities and counties within the province, excluding those registered in school sports teams or specialized sports club athlete classes. The competition selects outstanding athletes through various physical fitness tests.
During the competition, individual assessments are conducted on health-related fitness (muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, speed) and motor fitness (muscular power, agility, neural response). From these, a total of 50 top fitness performers are selected, 10 from each grade.
Scholarships are awarded to the top fitness performers. Additional benefits are also provided to participants who register as athletes.
After the competition, Jeonbuk Sports High School offers experience sessions in seven sports, including track and field, weightlifting, archery, and wrestling, for participants who wish to join.
