Actor Jingu, Bulldozer of Long Hair Desire 'Thank You'
Tension Rises as Shin Ha-kyun Faces Off
Actor Jingu made a powerful appearance as Hwang Dae-woong, the vice president of a construction company, in the tvN weekend drama "Thank You" (directed by Kwon Young-il and Joo Sang-gyu, written by Choi Min-ho), which premiered on the 6th.
"Thank You" is a full-fledged office clean-up action drama set against the backdrop of the audit team at JU Construction, where embezzlement, corruption, incidents, and accidents never cease. It follows the story of Lee Sung-pa, a rational audit team leader who comes to root out employees who are eating away at the company, and a sensitive newcomer.
In episode 1, Hwang Dae-woong (played by Jingu) first met Shin Cha-il (played by Shin Ha-kyun), the newly appointed head of the audit team. Shin Cha-il was auditing corruption related to a tower crane accident. During this process, suspecting collusion between Seo Gil-pyo (played by Kim Hong-pa) and the site manager, he pointed out the corruption, just as Vice President Hwang Dae-woong returned.
Hwang Dae-woong warmly greeted another figure, Yang Jae-seung (played by Baek Hyun-jin), who was trying to push Shin Cha-il out along with Seo Gil-pyo, but he formed a subtle tension with Shin Cha-il. Having clashed with Shin Cha-il from the start, what kind of character will Hwang Dae-woong show going forward?
