The challenge guide short-form video is released on June 4.
This dance challenge is based on the recently introduced Jinju City promotional music video "Jinjubit." "Jinjubit" breaks away from the traditional format of municipal promotional videos, featuring a retro-style video set against famous Jinju landmarks such as Jinju Sports Complex, Jinju Fortress, and the Railroad Culture Park, and showcasing high-level dance and singing performances. Notably, all participants involved in planning, directing, songwriting, choreography, singing, and filming are Jinju citizens, making it a truly "made by Jinju people" project with added significance.
The "Jinjubit Dance Challenge" is open to everyone nationwide, not just Jinju citizens, as there are no location restrictions. All participants will receive Harmo random goods as prizes, and those selected for outstanding videos will be awarded an Olive Young gift certificate worth 100,000 KRW.
Park Taejong, Jinju City spokesperson, said, "We hope this fun dance challenge will be a great opportunity for people to participate in city affairs in a more approachable way, and we look forward to seeing the song and dance of 'Jinjubit' shine not only in Jinju but all across the country."
