Jindo-gun Successfully Completes 2nd Session of 2024 Happy Bobaeseom Mom Meeting Program

Recruitment for 3rd Term Planned for September... Targeting 10 Pairs of Infants' Parents and Pregnant Women

Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, successfully concluded the 2nd session of the 2024 Happy Treasure Island Mom Meeting program, which was operated for parents of infants and toddlers and pregnant women in the area.

According to the county on the 3rd, the Happy Treasure Island Mom Meeting program is a small group activity run alongside the early life health management project, designed to share parenting experiences and information by stage, boost confidence in child-rearing, and foster social networks.

It also aimed to promote the health of pregnant women by cultivating prenatal and postnatal care skills and provided various information necessary for pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.

The county organized and operated a diverse and substantial program that included △infant massage △sensory play △flower basket making △prenatal and postnatal care education for pregnant women △and handmade baby jackets and jjanggu pillows.

The mom meeting program was held six times in total from May to June, and even during the 2nd session, there were many inquiries about available spots, showing its popularity among mothers, to the extent that a local broadcasting station came to film and cover the event.

The 3rd mom meeting session is scheduled to be held in September this year. Applications are open to 10 pairs of parents with infants aged 3 to 10 months and pregnant women, and can be submitted in person or by phone.
