Ottoogi Product Experience Zone Established from Past to Present
Ottogi held a groundbreaking ceremony for the "Ottogi Memorial Hall (tentative name)" on the 3rd.
The Ottogi Memorial Hall will be built on the site of the curry building at the Ottogi Anyang Factory, where Ottogi's founding product, curry, was produced. The facility is planned to have two underground floors and five above-ground floors, covering a site area of 24,456㎡ and a total floor area of 20,495㎡.
On the 3rd, Ham Young-jun, Chairman of Ottogi, is speaking to commemorate the groundbreaking of the Ottogi Memorial Hall.
View original imageThe Ottogi Memorial Hall will consist of spaces showcasing the life and management philosophy of Ottogi's founder, Honorary Chairman Pungnim Ham Tae-ho, an area introducing Ottogi's history leading modern Korean food culture, and a space where visitors can directly experience Ottogi products from past to present, allowing all generations to feel and empathize with the Ottogi brand.
After a pilot operation, the hall is scheduled to open sequentially starting June 2026, marking the 10th anniversary of Honorary Chairman Pungnim Ham Tae-ho's passing, with an official opening planned for January 2028. It will be developed as a space for the citizens of Anyang and the general public.
An Ottogi official stated, "The Ottogi Memorial Hall is a space created to record and preserve Ottogi's proud history of contributing to the improvement of human dietary life and to promote and inherit the noble spirit of Honorary Chairman Ham Tae-ho," adding, "We intend to use it as a place of learning and empathy about food for many people, including the citizens of Anyang."

Meanwhile, the groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Chairman Ham Young-jun, President Hwang Seong-man, Chairman Lee Seung-chan of Gyeryong Construction, Professor Shin Hyung-chul of Sinslab Architecture, and CEO Lee Min-jae of Migeon Comprehensive Architecture Office, among others.
