Pyeongtaek City and Pyeongtaek Education Support Office Sign MOU to Promote Establishment of Science High School
On the 3rd, Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province signed a 'Business Agreement for the Promotion of Establishing a Science High School' with the Pyeongtaek Office of Education. The signing ceremony was held with the attendance of Jeong Jang-seon, Mayor of Pyeongtaek, Lee Jong-min, Superintendent of the Pyeongtaek Office of Education, and Kim Hyun-jung, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea.

Mayor Jeong Jang-seon stated, "Pyeongtaek City has the optimal location for nurturing outstanding talents in the field of science, with infrastructure such as advanced industries including semiconductors, hydrogen, future automobiles, and the KAIST campus under development," and added, "We will actively work with the Pyeongtaek Office of Education to attract a science high school."
