Gwangju Seo-gu Conducts Integrity Sensitivity Training Including Conflict of Interest Prevention Act
Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 3rd that it conducted an integrity emotional education session on the 2nd to foster a culture of clean public service and enhance employees' awareness of integrity.
The training held at the Deulbul Hall of Seo-gu Office consisted of an emotional play titled "Your Today," which focused on codes of conduct such as the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, and power harassment, followed by a storytelling-style special lecture to improve understanding of anti-corruption laws.
In particular, the emotional play "Your Today" broke away from the traditional lecture format and was conducted as a situational drama that employees could relate to, increasing their engagement and receiving great responses.
Employees who participated in the training said in unison, "While empathizing with the play, it was a time to rethink the value of integrity in reality and the image of a clean public official."
Park Jeongho, the Audit Officer of Seo-gu Office, stated, "We will continue to promote various integrity policies like this training to become a trustworthy and clean Seo-gu for residents."
