Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate 5% Cashback Support Program Launched
Revitalizing the Local Economy and Easing Management Burdens for Small Business Owners
Hamyang County in Gyeongnam Province will launch a 5% cashback support program for mobile Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificates starting July 1, aiming to revitalize the local economy and alleviate the management burden on small business owners.
This cashback support program is part of the 2024 Local Gift Certificate Policy Project led by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. Hamyang County was selected through a public contest to provide cashback support to youth-owned businesses, reasonably priced businesses, and businesses in Jirisan Hamyang Market that are enrolled in fire insurance.
With this program, consumers can purchase Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificates at a 10% pre-discount and, when making payments at eligible businesses, receive 5% of the payment amount as cashback the following month. The program period is from July 1 to November 30, but it may end early if the budget is exhausted.
For reference, the criteria for youth entrepreneurs are those aged 18 to 49, according to the 'Hamyang County Youth Ordinance.' The list of approximately 600 eligible businesses, including youth-owned businesses, reasonably priced businesses, and businesses in Jirisan Hamyang Market with fire insurance, can be checked on the Hamyang County website starting from the 28th.
Additionally, only businesses registered as mobile Hamyang Sarang Gift Certificate merchants are eligible for cashback accumulation, and the list of participating merchants will be updated twice a month.
