Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kwon Oh-seong) Bukhang Substation announced on the 24th that it conducted first aid training and held a meeting for local private marine rescue teams at the Mokpo Fishing Vessel Safety Operation Bureau permanent training center on the 21st.

The Bukhang Substation organized the event to improve survival rates through first aid after life-saving, enhance public-private cooperation systems, and establish a prompt response system in case of marine accidents.
On that day, about 30 members of the local private marine rescue teams participated, sharing first aid training, plans to strengthen rescue and salvage activities in cooperation with the Rescue Association, and listening to field difficulties and suggestions from the private marine rescue team members.
