Sancheong County Holds Meeting to Review Response to Summer Natural Disasters

Sancheong County, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 24th that it held the "2024 Summer Natural Disaster Inspection Meeting" in the county office's main conference room.
This meeting was organized to enhance the county's ability to manage situations related to summer natural disasters such as storms, floods, and heat waves, and to establish a response system in order to minimize casualties and property damage among residents.

In particular, there was an in-depth discussion on thorough and detailed inspections to ensure the safety of residents.
Previously, Sancheong County had conducted on-site inspections of areas at risk of casualties, landslide-prone zones, steep slopes, and construction sites as part of its summer disaster response efforts.
The county also plans to continue focusing on disaster prevention by consistently inspecting high-risk areas before and after rainfall.
A county official stated, "This summer, frequent heat waves and extreme rainfall are forecast," adding, "We will thoroughly prepare to ensure there are no casualties or property damage among our residents."
