Opening of 'Pet Camping Site' at Nanji Hangang Park, Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu
Mapo-gu (District Mayor Park Gang-su) held an opening ceremony for the 'Pet Camping Site' on the afternoon of the 23rd at Nanji Hangang Park in Sangam-dong.
The opening ceremony was attended by Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, local members of the National Assembly, city and district council members, as well as over 80 families accompanied by their pet dogs to celebrate the opening of the camping site.
On this day, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, presented awards to meritorious individuals and held a prize-giving session for participants who won the pet photo contest.
In his greeting, he said, "We have established a pet camping site in a park overlooking the Hangang River so that people can create precious memories with their pets nearby without having to travel far," adding, "Mapo-gu will always do its best to become a city where pet owners and their pets can be happy."
