"Heatwave and Monsoon Together"... Lotte Home Shopping Strengthens Summer Product Lineup
End-of-Month Monsoon Forecast... Strengthened Lineup of Dehumidifiers and Rain Boots
Early Heatwave Causes Surge in Summer Product Sales
Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 20th that it will strengthen its summer preparation products, ranging from essential appliances for the rainy season such as dehumidifiers to fashion accessories like rash guards and sunglasses, as the summer season begins in earnest.
First, the lineup of energy-efficient seasonal appliances, bedding, and bamboo mats will be expanded with energy-saving products. On the 21st, the ‘24-year model 21ℓ dehumidifier’ from ‘Winix’ will be sold. This product recorded over 1 billion KRW in orders during the last broadcast, featuring a large capacity with a daily dehumidification amount of 21ℓ, top-tier energy efficiency grade 1, and an internal safe drying function that prevents mold and moisture buildup inside, enhancing product maintenance convenience.
On the 25th, a ‘foldable bamboo mat’ made from natural bamboo with excellent cooling properties will be introduced. Alongside this, a compact home appliance with space efficiency and energy efficiency targeting single-person households, the ‘Winix Inverter Compact Dryer,’ will also be available for sale.
Lotte Homeshopping plans to launch full-scale rainy season fashion products starting in June. On the 20th, outdoor brand ‘Jeep’ will present rain boots, and on the 22nd, ‘L.SHOW’ will showcase rain boots from the French fashion brand ‘Elle.’ The designs are faithful to basics with added delicacy, making them versatile not only for the rainy season but for all four seasons. Additionally, exclusive fashion brands ‘LBL,’ ‘Vivebridget,’ and ‘Georges Resh’ will offer a variety of items ranging from sleeveless knitwear to poncho zip-ups, which are highly practical during the rainy season.
Meanwhile, this year, early heat has also driven sales of summer fashion items. The sleeveless knitwear product featured in Lotte Homeshopping’s April broadcast saw a 150% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the ‘Calvin Klein Performance Rash Guard Set-up’ recorded over 300 million KRW in orders this year.
