Ourhome's New CEO Appointed: Eldest Daughter Gumi-hyun Joins New Executive Team
Vice Chairman Lee Young-yeol and President of Management Lee Young-pyo Appointed
Goo Mihyun, who joined Ourhome as an internal director, has been appointed as the new CEO and chairman.
Ourhome announced on the 18th that it held a board meeting and carried out new executive appointments with this content. Chairman Goo, newly appointed as CEO, is the eldest daughter of the late Goo Jahak, the founder of Ourhome. This is the first time Chairman Goo has participated in the management of Ourhome. Her husband, Lee Youngyeol, who also joined Ourhome as a new internal director, was appointed vice chairman.
The company’s management will be led by Lee Youngpyo, who was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer. Lee graduated from Konkuk University with a degree in Business Administration and has worked at Ourhome since 1993. He has experience in purchasing logistics, finance, accounting, and various on-site and management support departments. He also previously served as the secretary to the late Chairman Goo and as the head of the management support division (CFO).
In his remarks, he stated, "I will prioritize company stability and building trust with the management team so that employees can work without anxiety." He added, "We will not implement large-scale organizational restructuring, which has been routinely carried out every time the management changes, in order to stabilize the company," and "We will establish various channels to communicate with the new management team to build trust."
He also emphasized, "To ensure the company’s growth and development, we will achieve the existing management goals and business plans, and ensure that ongoing work is not interrupted or delayed," and "We will maintain the evaluation and compensation plans agreed upon by the previous management and employees to prevent any loss of trust."

He said, "I want to continue the founding spirit of the late Chairman Goo Jahak and build a company where employees are the owners together," and "I will quickly stabilize the current situation and create an environment where employees can fully focus on their work."
