Ulsan Fire Department Conducts Special Rescue Training for Valley Isolation and Swift Water Accidents
Special Response Unit to Conduct Three Training Sessions in Daewoonsan Valley Area from 18th to 28th
The Ulsan Fire Department Special Response Team will conduct special rescue training exercises in the Daewoonsan Valley area from the 18th to the 28th to prepare for valley isolation and swift water accidents.
This training has been organized to enable a rapid response to valley isolation and swift water accidents, as prolonged rainy seasons and localized heavy rainfall are forecasted this summer due to abnormal weather patterns.
About 30 team members will participate in the three training sessions, which will include: on-site activities simulating the isolation of rescue targets; rope installation training for horizontal crossing and crossing drills for both rescuers and rescue targets; and swift water swimming for throw bag rescues.
