Recent news about the girl 'Songa' (Im Songa), who promoted North Korea through YouTube and TikTok with fluent British English skills, was featured in North Korea's external propaganda media 'Naenara'.
On the 12th, Naenara reported on Im Songa, a first-year student at Pyongyang Seongyo Elementary and Middle School, who won the foreign language conversation contest held last November for elementary and middle school students nationwide.
According to the report, Im Songa has written up to 30 diaries in English and has made continuous efforts to express her emotions in English since she started learning the language. It added, "Songa's English conversation skills far exceed those of students studying in the same grade," and "She is also participating in the production of English educational materials for preschool children and elementary school students."

However, Google shut down channels promoting the North Korean regime in June 2023 in accordance with its service terms, making her channel disappear. On China's online video sharing site TikTok, an account sharing 'Songa's daily life still exists, but no new videos have been uploaded since August 2023.
