Exchange Sponsors Sharing Fund for Children in Grandparent-Grandchild and Single-Parent Families
The Korea Exchange announced on the 12th that it donated approximately 240 million KRW from a voluntary sharing fund raised by its executives and employees to help children from grandparent-headed and single-parent families to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.
The donated funds will support 100 children from single-parent families and others with 2.4 million KRW annually (200,000 KRW per month) until they graduate from high school. Additionally, emotional support activities such as cultural experiences and meeting days with executives and employees will be provided to help the children grow up healthily.

On the day, Jeong Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, personally presented donation certificates to the sponsoring executives and employees, encouraging their sharing activities. Through the donation ceremony, Chairman Jeong said, "We hope that our care and support will become a stepping stone to nurture the dreams and hopes of the children," and added, "The Exchange will promote various social contribution activities for neighbors in need in the local community, driven by the voluntary participation of executives and employees in donations."
