On the 12th, the agency visited the Uman Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Suwon City and volunteered to deliver lunchboxes to elderly living alone and vulnerable groups.
Kang Seongcheon, head of the agency, and about 10 executives and employees directly packed lunchboxes for 246 vulnerable individuals at the Uman Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, assisted with meal preparation, serving, and dishwashing. Afterwards, they personally delivered lunchboxes to the residences of 80 elderly people with mobility difficulties.
Director Kang participated in the volunteer activities himself to raise employees' interest in social responsibility activities through ESG efforts and to identify practical support needed on-site. He also held a meeting with So Hyun, the deputy director of the Uman Social Welfare Center, promising continuous support for vulnerable groups in blind spots within the community.
The agency has been steadily practicing a culture of sharing since signing a regular volunteer activity agreement with the Uman Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in 2013. In recognition of these contributions, it received a commendation from a member of the National Assembly at the Uman Welfare Center's 30th anniversary event last year. The agency plans to continue regular volunteer work every Wednesday with all executives and employees participating.
Kang Seongcheon, head of the agency, stated, "Many neighbors around us live in need of help," adding, "As a public institution, we will pay attention to the local community and steadily expand social contribution activities to fulfill our social responsibility."
