Ridi Releases Global Audio Drama of Webtoon 'Hapbeopjeok Akgyeok-ui Sajung'
Content platform company RIDI announced on the 12th that it has released the webtoon "The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion," based on the popular web novel of the same name, as a global audio drama.
The global audio drama "The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" was produced by the U.S. romance-focused podcast producer Meet Cute. Meet Cute adapted Season 1 of the webtoon "The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" into six fast-paced episodes. It features delicate performances by popular North American voice actors, rich background music, and various sound effects that enhance the immersion of the work.
"The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" depicts the protagonist who is possessed by the villainess in the novel, facing ill-fated relationships and romance. Due to the original web novel's high popularity, it was also produced as a webtoon of the same name, gaining popularity not only in Korea but also on the global webtoon subscription service Manta. In September last year, the webtoon was released on Japan's largest webcomic platform Mecha Comic, recording 1 billion KRW in transaction volume within 60 days of serialization, continuing its global success.
