The city explained that the signboard installations prioritized places where it is difficult for children and students on school routes and drivers to secure visibility when making right turns.
The signboards display pedestrian crossing footage and cautionary messages when pedestrians or vehicles are detected on the right side. In particular, the signboards provide clear information to drivers by showing real-time video footage of situations that are difficult to express with simple text and pictogram images.
