Samsung Electro-Mechanics Holds Exhibition of Environmental Artwork at Company Daycare Center
Exhibition Held in June for Environment Month
Also Hosted at Busan Plant
Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on the 11th that it will hold an environmental art exhibition featuring children from its in-house daycare center at the Suwon plant for five days starting from the 10th, in celebration of Environment Month in June.
The exhibition showcased works such as "Treasures of the Beautiful Forest" made from natural materials, "Endangered Animals" created from recycled items, "Nature Where Animals Live Well," and "Environmental Newspaper" produced from the children's perspectives. The artworks were displayed in the lobby in front of the company cafeteria.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics plans to hold a similar environmental protection art exhibition by the daycare children at the Busan plant later this month. At the Sejong plant, a lecture on ecological conservation activities is scheduled.

Additionally, the company is raising environmental awareness among employees and encouraging participation through various campaigns, including turning off the plant building lights for one hour in observance of Earth Hour, collecting discarded mobile phones, separating milk cartons for recycling, and switching to eco-friendly takeout containers in the company cafeteria.
