Haman-gun Equestrian Park Offers Horseback Riding Experience and Career Exploration for Free Semester Students

Haman-gun Equestrian Park in Gyeongnam is conducting a free semester equestrian experience program in collaboration with the Haman Office of Education, aiming to expand the base of equestrian enthusiasts through hands-on activities that reflect the local characteristics. The program runs for four weeks from the 5th to the 28th.
The free semester equestrian experience targets first-year students from selected middle schools in the area, with about 488 students from seven schools expected to participate. The program is held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:20 AM to 11:30 AM and from 1:20 PM to 3:30 PM until the 28th.

View original imageThe program includes tours of the equestrian park facilities, horseback riding experiences, and career exploration. Thanks to 100% support from the Haman Office of Education in Gyeongsangnam-do, a wide range of students are provided with diverse opportunities.
An official from Haman-gun Equestrian Park stated, "We aim to provide more opportunities to students through various programs in continued collaboration with the Haman Office of Education," and added, "We hope to promote Haman-gun Equestrian Park, establish horseback riding as a popular sport, and contribute to increasing the future equestrian population."
Meanwhile, Haman-gun Equestrian Park operates a variety of programs in addition to the free semester equestrian experience, such as student equestrian programs for physical and emotional development, a youth equestrian team to secure a sustainable equestrian population, and horse therapy for long-term care patients to provide healing through interaction with horses.
