Busan Digital High School Department of Electronic Warrant Officers, Participates in 53rd Infantry Division Military Camp Experience
Pride of Prospective Junior Officers... Building Basic Qualities
The Department of Electronic Non-Commissioned Officers at Busan Digital High School (Principal: Park Changhyo) held a one-day military camp experience for 63 first-year students at the 126th Brigade of the 53rd Infantry Division on the 7th.
This military camp experience was organized to help students aspiring to become non-commissioned officers build essential basic skills and enhance their pride as prospective junior leaders.
The program included survival training, armored vehicle rides, personal equipment and supplies experiences, and time with senior non-commissioned officers. Through these activities, students gained valuable insight into the roles and responsibilities of non-commissioned officers in field units.
Son Jiwon, the supervising teacher and head of the Department of Electronic Non-Commissioned Officers, said, "This military camp experience provided students, who will serve as junior leaders, with a valuable opportunity to experience the field and understand military culture. It was also a meaningful time for them to strengthen their determination to pursue a career as non-commissioned officers."
Busan Digital High School established the Department of Electronic Non-Commissioned Officers in the 2019 academic year, becoming the first in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions to do so. The school produces over 40 successful non-commissioned officer candidates each year and strives to cultivate knowledge, virtue, physical strength, and leadership qualities required of junior leaders.
