Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) operates a safety education program called "Exciting Safety Gwangjin" at the CCTV Integrated Control Center, targeting vulnerable groups such as children and women.
This education provides an opportunity to experience the Gwangjin-gu CCTV Integrated Control Center. Participants can vividly learn about the center's roles and functions, as well as the operating principles of unmanned cameras.
Additionally, practical guidelines for handling crisis situations that are easy to apply in daily life are also provided.
During the education, a 6-split large screen used by control operators is utilized. Participants can directly check the operational status of 4,150 CCTVs installed throughout Gwangjin-gu.
They will also learn about the roles of control operators who perform safety management tasks such as crime prevention, enforcement, and forest fire monitoring.
Furthermore, instructions on how to use the CCTV emergency bell and the Seoul Ansim-i app are provided. Participants are taught how to quickly request help from the CCTV Integrated Control Center in case of emergencies. Hands-on experience time is also given to help them learn easily and thoroughly.
The education sessions are held once a month until November. However, the lecture will only be conducted if there are at least five applicants. Anyone interested can apply, and those wishing to participate should send an email to the Smart Information Officer at Gwangjin-gu Office. Application forms can be downloaded from the district office website or via the information pattern (QR code).
