Hantoo Asset Management, ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series Dividend Certification Event
Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 7th that it will hold a dividend receipt certification event for the ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) until the 28th of this month.
The ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series refers to three covered call ETFs listed in April.
The ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series is characterized by setting an annual target distribution rate of 15%. To achieve this high target distribution rate, Korea Investment Trust Management utilizes zero-day-to-expiration (0DTE) out-of-the-money (OTM) 1% options. Korea Investment Trust Management is the first in Korea to launch a covered call ETF using zero-day-to-expiration options. By using 0DTE options that expire within 24 hours and OTM options that partially track market performance, they have increased the annual target distribution rate.
All products in the ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series are monthly dividend types that distribute dividends during the month. Dividends are paid around the 15th of each month, differentiating them from other monthly dividend ETFs that pay dividends at the end of each month. From an investor's perspective, the ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series allows cash flow receipt even during the month.
Due to the nature of monthly distribution, to participate in the dividend receipt certification event, investors must purchase the ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series ETF by the 12th of this month. This is because dividends will be paid on the 18th to investors who complete purchase settlements by the dividend payment record date (the 14th).
The event participation criterion of 15 shares is recognized as the combined purchase quantity of the three ETFs. This means that investors can meet the event participation requirement not only by purchasing 15 shares of each ACE US Stock 15% Premium Distribution Series product but also by purchasing 5 shares of each.
To win prizes, dividend deposit details must be certified through a specially prepared event page. The event page can be accessed via the ACE ETF website and KakaoTalk. Korea Investment Trust Management will provide various prizes through a lottery among investors who certify dividend receipt.
Kim Seunghyun, head of ETF consulting at Korea Investment Trust Management, said, "Korea Investment Trust Management was the first in Korea to introduce covered calls using 0DTE options," adding, "We tried to eliminate the upper limit of covered call ETFs by tracking stock price increases through OTM 1% options." He continued, "ACE ETF will continue to offer differentiated products and provide high-quality investment content so that ETFs can be better solutions for asset allocation and long-term investment."
