Regarding his previous mention of "securing data before the July call record deadline," he said, "I am not referring to anyone in particular," adding, "It is an expression of the intention to secure such parts before important data is lost in accordance with investigative principles, so that the investigation can proceed without disruption."
On plans for additional investigation, he said, "I will work hard to ensure things are handled properly according to principles." When asked about the possibility of summoning officials from the Presidential Office, he responded with a general statement, "We will diligently investigate this case, which is of public interest."
Addressing criticism that the investigation is progressing slowly, he said, "I do not agree," emphasizing, "We are conducting the investigation very diligently with limited investigative personnel. As the head, I will work hard to ensure the investigation does not drag on and that such concerns remain mere worries."
Oh also revealed that during his visit to Prosecutor General Lee, he proposed dispatching prosecutors to reinforce the investigative capacity of the Hogeum. Oh stated, "Putting aside checks and balances between institutions, I mentioned the positive aspect of mutually dispatching personnel," adding, "Regarding criticisms about the Hogeum's investigative capabilities, I said it would be desirable to receive competent prosecutors on a limited basis."
