"Grow Well and Return"... Saeul Nuclear Power Releases Juvenile Fish Raised in Power Plant Discharge Channel into Coastal Waters
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters held the "8th Saeul Headquarters Shellfish and Fish Release Event" on the 30th at Nasahang and the nearby coastal area in Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun, releasing a total of 190,000 juvenile olive flounder and abalone seeds that were farmed using warm water discharged from the nuclear power plant.

In addition to the juvenile olive flounder released on this day, Saeul Headquarters also provided a total of 140,000 abalone seeds in advance to seven fishing villages in Ulju-gun on the 10th and 13th.
Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters Chief Executive Officer So Yooseop said, "So far, we have released more than 2 million shellfish and fish in Ulju-gun, greatly contributing to the creation of fishery resources and the increase of fishermen's income," and added, "We will strive to become a headquarters that grows together with the local community for regional economic development and mutual prosperity."
