Hanseo University Successfully Completes 'EduCart-Based Business Model Development Camp'
Gyeongnam National University, Keimyung University, and Wonkwang University Jointly Conduct
Hanseo University gathered in one place with Gyeongnam National University, Keimyung University, and Wonkwang University to jointly develop a business model based on EduCart.
According to Hanseo University on the 29th, over 30 people gathered for a three-day camp from the 23rd to the 25th to develop a startup business model for electric vehicle-based manufacturing by enhancing understanding of the future mobility industry.
This camp was held following the signing of a 'Business Agreement for Industry-Academia Cooperation Performance and Support' between the LINC 3.0 project groups of Gyeongnam National University, Keimyung University, Wonkwang University, Hanseo University, and the e-Mobility Research Association. The agreement promised ▲creating an industry-academia cooperation support ecosystem and fostering a startup education culture ▲expanding various industry-academia cooperation programs targeting schools and students ▲providing necessary physical and human resources to activate industry-academia cooperation ▲supporting government and local government industry-academia cooperation.
During the two-night, three-day camp, a variety of education and professional mentoring and practical training were conducted, including ▲special lectures on e-mobility and electric vehicles ▲theoretical education on electric vehicle and e-mobility driving principles, component composition, and control ▲open-source coding and control algorithm training ▲assembly practice and functional operation testing ▲racing competitions based on assembled carts, as well as concretizing e-mobility-based ideas and reviewing business feasibility.
Additionally, special startup lectures for faculty and staff included ▲Global KU OASIS centered on the 2nd Industrial Education and Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Basic Plan ▲Aviation security and law in new industry fields ▲Cases of operating maker spaces linked to global local communities ▲Holograms and extended reality in the 4th Industrial Revolution, among various lectures aimed at strengthening practical startup skills.

Kim Hyun-sung, Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation and Project Director, stated, "Future mobility is an industry we must face, so we need to prepare from now on," and added, "We will actively support various programs necessary for students."
