Recruitment of Social Economy Enterprise Startup Preparers until June 17
Workshop-style Course Covering Social Economy Understanding to Business Model Review
Seoul Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it is recruiting participants for the "2024 Eunpyeong Social Economy Academy Startup Preparation Course" to foster social economy entrepreneurs who fulfill social responsibility.
The "Eunpyeong Social Economy Academy Startup Preparation Course" targets those preparing to start social economy enterprises such as (social) cooperatives, (preliminary) social enterprises, and village enterprises.
The academy consists of a total of 10 lectures, held twice a week from June 18 to July 18. All sessions are conducted as workshop-style classes combining lectures and practical exercises to help participants develop their actual business plans.
The lecture topics include ▲Understanding social economy and social economy entrepreneurship ▲Social mission for starting social economy enterprises ▲Understanding and establishing social business models ▲Specifying business items and establishing business promotion plans ▲Customer and market research essential in the early stages of startup ▲Promotion and marketing for early-stage startups ▲Proper accounting and taxation for operating social economy organizations ▲Fundraising and securing government support for social economy enterprises ▲Strategies for choosing legal entity types and writing business plans ▲Reviewing business plans. Especially, the final lecture provides customized feedback on the final business plan.
Pre-registration for the academy is open until June 17. Interested participants can apply by submitting the online Google form as indicated on the poster.
