Busan Children's Creativity Education Center to Run 'Busan Neulbom School in the Forest' Program
Outdoor Forest Experience Education Outside School... Fostering Character and Nature-Friendly Sensibility
The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education Children's Creativity Education Center (Director Yoo Byungsoon) announced on the 22nd that it will operate the "Shoulder-to-Shoulder Forest Love Dream" program for elementary school students until November 15.
This program, held every Tuesday to Friday at the Children's Creativity Education Center's forest course and its facilities, is designed to foster students' character and nature-friendly sensibility through out-of-school forest experience education.
Elementary students from the Neulbom School participating in the program will engage in a variety of activities such as forest interpretation by a professional forest experience instructor, observation and exploration, and ecological play.
Programs like "Decorating a Leaf Crown," "Making an Acorn Spinning Top," and "Making a Grass Whistle Using Forest Natural Materials" are expected to nurture students' proper character and ecological sensibility.
The Children's Creativity Education Center has enhanced the program by providing free minibuses for student transportation, as well as all necessary materials and workbooks.

Yoo Byungsoon, Director of the Children's Creativity Education Center, said, "I hope that students participating in the program will have an enjoyable time outside of school, fully experiencing nature and developing their imagination and creativity."
