Jang Yoonju, a Student at Daegu Suseong University, Wins Grand Prize in General Division at Daegu International Beauty Expo
Sweeping Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards
Students from Suseong University in Daegu (President Kim Seonsun) swept various awards, including the grand prize, at the 11th Daegu International Beauty Expo held at EXCO from the 17th to the 19th.
At the competition, which saw participation from over 1,100 people including beauty industry professionals and students from beauty-related high schools, universities, and the general public nationwide, Jang Yunju, a first-year student majoring in Well Skincare at the LiFE Convergence Department of Suseong University, won the grand prize in the General Body Swedish category, while Jegal Yunhee also received the bronze prize in the general division.

View original imageIn addition, in the University Face Swedish category, Yeo Eunjin, a first-year student in the Department of Skin Health Care, received a special award, and Eom Yerin won bronze prizes in both the Body Swedish and Face Swedish categories.
At the K-Nail Skills Competition held on the 18th, Kim Hyeryeong, a first-year student in the Department of Skin Health Care, won the gold prize in the Eyelash Extension category, while Seo Youngji took the silver prize, and Kim Chaeyoung and Kim Gyumin each received bronze prizes.
Furthermore, in the Eyelash Perm category, Heo Aseong from the Department of Skin Health Care won the gold prize, Park Jooyoung and Jeong Chibok received silver prizes, and Park Mihui and Yoon Eunji won bronze prizes. In the Nail Maniart category, Gam Aibi received a bronze prize, with many students who participated in the competition receiving various awards.
Han Mira, head of the Well Skincare major at the LiFE Convergence Department of Suseong University, said, "Our students were able to achieve great results thanks to their long hours of practical training in preparation for the Daegu International Beauty Expo," and added, "We will continue to enhance students' learning capabilities through active participation in beauty competitions."
