Guro-gu Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience Program Expanded to Adults
Operating Age-Specific Woodworking Experience Programs from 3-Year-Old Children to Elementary, Middle, and High School Youth and Adults
Adults Can Now Also Use the Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience Center Programs.
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) announced on the 9th that the Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience Program will be expanded to include adults.
Since its opening in March, the Cheonwangsan Woodworking Experience Center has been operating a woodworking experience program every month for children aged 3 and older, allowing them to create crafts using wood directly.
However, starting this month, the program participation target has been expanded to adults to provide opportunities for the general public, who have fewer chances to experience wood culture in daily life.
Programs for toddlers and children are separately scheduled in the morning, while adults can participate in programs held on weekday afternoons and weekends.
The May program includes △ Wheels too! Box (Monday) △ Coffee Storage Cabinet (Tuesday) △ House Bookshelf (Thursday) △ Handle Tray (Friday), and anyone from middle school age and above can participate.
To offer a variety of experiences, new programs are organized every month, and detailed schedules and content are announced on the Guro-gu Office website at the end of the previous month.
Programs for toddlers are held on weekdays from 10 a.m. for one hour, and on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., there are programs available for families, friends, and couples to participate together.
The participation fee is 1,000 KRW for all programs, with material costs charged separately.
Those wishing to participate can search for ‘Cheonwangsan Woodworking’ or the individual program name on the Seoul Public Reservation System website, make a reservation, and then transfer the participation and material fees via bank transfer. However, for group reservations of 10 or more, availability for the desired date must be confirmed in advance.
