Muan-gun Wins Top Awards in Two Fields: Cadastral Administration and Cadastral Re-survey
Jeonnam Province Hosts 2024 Cadastral and Re-survey Research Project Presentation Competition with Notable Achievements
Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 8th that it was honored to receive the grand prize in both categories at the 2024 Cadastral & Re-survey Work Workshop hosted by Jeollanam-do on the 3rd.
On that day, Seung-ah Jeong, a public official from the Civil Complaints Cadastral Team, and Ga-hyeong Kang, a public official from the Cadastral Re-survey Team, presented their research projects. In particular, the cadastral re-survey field received the grand prize for two consecutive years at the Re-survey Work Workshop.
At the workshop held at the Jindo Sol Beach Resort, a presentation contest was held for five selected projects in the cadastral administration field and five in the cadastral re-survey field, chosen through a preliminary review of research projects submitted by 22 cities and counties. Awards were given to outstanding presenters.

View original imageThe research projects presented by Muan-gun included two in total, covering cadastral administration and cadastral re-survey fields. In the cadastral administration field, public official Seung-ah Jeong presented a research project titled “Measures to Prevent Duplicate Cadastral Survey Results,” which drew a positive response from the judges by deriving effects such as providing consistent survey results and improving satisfaction with cadastral civil complaints.
Additionally, in the cadastral re-survey field, public official Ga-hyeong Kang presented an excellent case study on “Establishment of a Cadastral Re-survey Data Management System for Rapid Task Processing,” receiving high scores for practicality and effectiveness by demonstrating increased efficiency in civil complaint handling and systematic management of survey data through the use of an in-house system.
Furthermore, public official Eun-ju Jeong was recognized for her contribution to the active promotion of the 2024 cadastral re-survey project’s excellence and individual non-conformity investigations, receiving a commendation from the governor for outstanding work performance, marking a double celebration.
Kim Soo-young, head of the Civil Complaints Cadastral Division, stated, “We will continue to make efforts to improve job skills through work workshops and to discover best practices to protect the property rights of residents and resolve boundary disputes by successfully promoting the cadastral re-survey project. We also ask for the active interest and cooperation of the residents in the cadastral re-survey project.”
