According to Korea Airports Corporation Jeju Airport, as of noon on this day, 40 flights (20 departures and 20 arrivals) at Jeju Airport have been canceled.
Most of the canceled flights were scheduled for after 3 p.m.
Jeju Airport explained that cancellations are continuing due to deteriorating weather conditions at Jeju Airport and Gimhae Airport.
Currently, a strong wind warning is in effect for the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, and a strong wind advisory is issued for all other areas except the mountains. Additionally, a sudden wind change advisory is active at Jeju Airport.
