Samsung Display Establishes Dedicated Advanced Research Team for Apple
'A Preceding Research Team' at Giheung Research Center, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi
Samsung Display recently established a new advanced research team related to Apple.
According to industry sources on the 2nd, Samsung Display established the 'A Advanced Research Team' under the Giheung Research Center in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province the day before.
It is reported that Samsung Display named the dedicated Apple-related department after the 'A' in 'Apple'.
The 'A Advanced Research Team' is expected to focus on researching and developing future technologies targeting Apple's next-generation products.

It is anticipated that the team will work on expanding the application of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology to Apple products such as the iPhone, iPad, and MacBook.
Apple plans to equip its iPad model, to be unveiled this month, with OLED for the first time in its product lineup.
