"Meet Mozart and Beethoven"... Dongmyeong University, Breakfast Classical Music Forum
From the 14th, a total of 12 sessions with invited classical music experts
Dongmyung University will hold the "Breakfast Classical Music Forum," composed of renowned domestic classical instructors, a total of 12 times, following last year.
Starting from May 14 and continuing until November 26, every other Tuesday at 7 a.m., the forum will take place at the university headquarters' Business Hall, where local institution heads and CEOs will participate in a cultural and artistic educational feast.
This forum consists of distinguished classical experts such as music columnist Lee Chae-hoon, author of the Mozart biography; pianist Lim Hyun-jung, who ranked number one on the Billboard Classical Chart; pianist Kim Joo-young, a specialist at the Daewon Cultural Foundation; Korea's first piano docent Kim Mi-kyung; KBS Masterpiece Scandal doctor and music columnist Yoo Jung-woo; music critic Choi Eun-kyu; and Grace Jo, director of the New Asia Opera Company.
While last year's Breakfast Classical Forum covered all areas of classical music, this year it will focus on the music of Mozart and Beethoven, offering participants a profound emotional experience.
President Jeon Ho-hwan said, "I am proud to continue the classical forum, which concluded grandly last year. Returning the talents gained from society to the local community is a meaningful endeavor."
He added, "We will actively support presenting various cultural lecture programs, such as the Breakfast Classical Forum, to the citizens."
