"Preventing Food Poisoning and Safety Accidents" ... Changwon Special City Joint Inspection of PC Rooms and Kids Cafes
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will conduct a joint public-private inspection targeting 168 hygiene-related facilities to strengthen safety management of food service establishments that prepare and sell food within hygiene-vulnerable facilities and multi-use facilities such as kids cafes, comic cafes, weddings, and PC rooms.
An inspection team composed of city and district offices and consumer food hygiene inspectors will carry out the inspections from April 29 to May 8. The main inspection items include compliance with personal hygiene such as health checkups, wearing hygiene caps and masks, whether expired products are stored or used for cooking and sales, compliance with refrigeration and freezing temperature standards, and whether food is reused.
This inspection will also include sample testing of cooked foods sold at food service establishments. The test items include Escherichia coli and food poisoning bacteria, and the tests will check whether the food meets the standards and specifications.
