Mayor Kim Dong-il: "I hope this will be a time for employees to recharge"
Boryeong City in Chungnam Province will grant special leave to public officials who have diligently performed their duties, following the directive of Mayor Kim Dong-il, in celebration of Family Month in May.
Since February, Mayor Kim has ordered one day of special leave for all employees who have worked hard on various tasks such as operating the wildfire prevention task force, supporting the 22nd National Assembly elections, and faithfully undergoing the comprehensive audit of Chungcheongnam-do.
The special leave is a measure in accordance with the Boryeong City Local Public Officials Service Regulations, which allow the mayor to grant special leave of up to five days annually when a public official is recognized for outstanding achievements or contributions in their work.
