Uiryeong Chilgok Elementary School Holds Science Month Event Linking Kindergarten and Elementary School Semesters
To Foster Scientific Thinking and Creativity
Chilgok Elementary School in Uiryeong, Gyeongnam, held the ‘Preschool-Elementary Linked Semester Science Month’ event on the 8th to celebrate the 57th anniversary of April Science Month. The event aimed to stimulate children's curiosity about science and foster scientific thinking and creativity.
On this day, 5-year-old children from Uiryeong Kindergarten, who are about to enter elementary school, were invited to Chilgok Elementary School. Together with elementary students, they participated in various science experience activities such as soap bubble play, air cannons, and optical illusions, as well as science demonstrations including the cryogenic world, atmospheric pressure experiments, and model rocket launches.

In the afternoon, utilizing creative experiential activities and leisure time, all students launched air pockets and flew model airplanes, fostering their interest and dreams in aerospace.
