Lecture by Director Choi Seungha of 'Admission King Pentakill' on April 12
Last year, 9 out of 10 students who received career and college admission services in Dobong-gu responded that they were satisfied. The satisfaction rate for the ‘Jinhak Academy’ was an impressive 93%.
In response, a district official explained, “Providing systematic admission information tailored to key periods aligned with middle and high school entrance exam schedules seems to have been a great help to examinees.”
Jinhak Academy is a program that offers students and parents accurate admission information and strategies regarding the rapidly changing entrance exam system. It consists of admission briefings and admission classes led by admission experts.
This year, based on the satisfaction survey, the district plans to further expand and operate the Jinhak Academy. The number of participants per program has been significantly increased, and the program content has also been enhanced.
First, on April 12 at 10 a.m., Dobong-gu Office will hold a ‘High School Credit System and 2028 College Admission Reform Briefing’ at the 16th floor Jaunbong Hall for elementary and middle school parents concerned about changes in education policies such as the college entrance system reform.
Admission expert Director Choi Seungha, widely known to examinees and parents as the ‘Admission King Pentakill,’ will give a lecture and provide detailed guidance on the high school credit system and the 2028 college admission reform.
Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. on March 27 via the Dobong-gu Office website (Communication & Participation → Internet Registration/Reservation). Registration is limited to the first 150 applicants, and for more details, inquiries can be made to the Dobong-gu Education Support Division.
In May, an ‘Admission Class for Parents’ will be held for parents of middle and high school students. The admission class will cover everything from basic admission information to details of each early and regular admission screening process.
In August, during the early admission application period, a ‘Early Admission Strategy Briefing’ will be prepared for local examinees preparing for the 2025 college entrance exam, and in October, the ‘2nd Dobong-gu Career and Admission Fair’ will provide not only special lectures but also opportunities for students and parents to explore career paths and receive admission information.
From late November to December, after the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test, a ‘Regular Admission Strategy Briefing’ will be held in line with the regular admission application period, offering the best strategies tailored to each student’s CSAT scores.
