Selection and Agreement of Private Operators for Youth Startup Academy Bases in 8 Regions
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) announced on the 22nd that it held the ‘2024 Youth Startup Academy Private Operators Agreement Ceremony and Meeting’ at G-Tower located in Guro, Seoul.
The event was organized to sign agreements with eight regionally selected private operators of the Youth Startup Academy, who were finally chosen last February to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire startup process, including startup education, coaching, and commercialization support for young entrepreneurs. It also aimed to explore ways to enhance support outcomes for regional young entrepreneurs and revitalize the startup ecosystem.

View original imageThrough this agreement, SBC and the eight regional private operators plan to provide various programs in a package format targeting local young entrepreneurs, including ▲establishing the latest business models ▲startup practical education and coaching ▲prototype production and technical support ▲market access support and investment attraction ▲linkage support with policy projects.
Additionally, during the on-site meeting with the operators, discussions were held on ways to improve the commercialization success rate of regional young entrepreneurs and support their innovative growth into global companies.
SBC plans to further strengthen the expertise of startup support for the globalization of young entrepreneurs by ▲providing specialized practical startup education benchmarking overseas advanced cases ▲enhancing investment attraction capabilities and linking direct investments ▲operating technical education, mentoring, and specialized programs with global large corporations.
