‘K-Edu’ Experience ... Taiwanese High School Principals Visit Busan
Visit to Educational Curriculum and System of Busan Il Science High School
Busan Il Science High School announced on the 19th that on the 12th, a delegation of principals from six high schools, including Taiwan's Jianguo Senior High School, visited to tour the curriculum, school facilities, and classes.
This visit was arranged after several online and offline international academic forums on various topics, during which several Taiwanese high schools expressed interest in benchmarking.
The Taiwanese principals showed great interest in Korea's education system and college entrance examination system, the distinctive curriculum of science high schools, AP (Advanced Placement) courses, and classes in mathematics, science, and information fields.
In particular, they asked detailed questions about Busan Il Science High School's signature programs aimed at strengthening self-directed research capabilities, such as creative experiential activity programs (Creative Speech, Creative Design, Creative Presentation, Creative Creating), the R&E program, SW·AI education support projects, and the science festival operated for local community students.
They also toured advanced science education facilities for in-depth learning and research activities of Busan Il Science High School students, including the observatory, workshop, MBL laboratory, and SEM scanning electron microscope room.
