Nanobrick Wins 'Best Component Award' at China's Largest Home Appliance Expo AWE 2024
Nanobrick, an advanced nano new material specialist company, announced on the 18th that it won the 'AWE Best Component Award' at China’s largest home appliance exhibition, 'AWE 2024 (Appliance & Electronics World Show)'.
AWE 2024 is a global home appliance industry expo hosted by the China Household Electrical Appliances Association, held in Shanghai, China from the 14th to the 17th of this month. This year’s theme was 'Smartize the Future,' featuring numerous new products that combine innovative technologies and consumer experiences for smart living.
Nanobrick received the Best Component Award by applying its ‘E-Skin Anycolor’ to a mock-up refrigerator product of a major Chinese home appliance company. The Best Component Award is given to components and materials that demonstrate excellence in innovation in terms of performance, technology, and functionality. This recognized the innovation of E-Skin as an emotional exterior material for smart living.
A company representative said, “The on-site response was enthusiastic about the ability to freely change the surface color tone of home appliances with ultra-low power consumption without installing separate light sources, depending on external environments or consumer needs.” They added, “We held one-on-one meetings with potential customers from various industries including major home appliance companies, electronics manufacturers, electric vehicle companies, and the display industry in China, and engaged in detailed discussions on strategic partnerships and implementation testing.”
Previously, in November last year, the company also received an Innovation Award for E-Skin Anycolor at the world’s largest international electronics exhibition, CES. These consecutive awards further recognized the company’s unique technological innovation and product differentiation.
Joo Jae-hyun, CEO of Nanobrick, said, “Through this award, we were able to reaffirm the marketability of E-Skin in the emotional exterior material market where aesthetics are important. Moving forward, we plan to expand our business into products with variable transmittance and full-color variable color based on E-Skin’s production and manufacturing infrastructure.”
