On the occasion of International Women's Day, KleanNara announced on the 13th that it donated women's products and daily necessities worth 240 million won to underprivileged female adolescents facing economic difficulties. International Women's Day, observed on March 8th, is an official commemorative day designated by the United Nations (UN) to honor women's social, economic, and political achievements and to promote the improvement of women's status and protection of their rights.
On the 12th, at the Community Chest of Korea building in Jung-gu, Seoul, a donation ceremony for clean country products was held, with attendees taking a commemorative photo. View original imageThe donated items include 300,000 sanitary pads of the brand 'Sunsuhanmyeon' and 130,000 baby diapers of the brand 'Bosomi Wonder by Wonder,' totaling approximately 240 million won. These items will be delivered to female adolescents and underprivileged families through Good Neighbors and Community Chest of Korea. The Sunsuhanmyeon sanitary pads are included in Good Neighbors' domestic girls' support kits.
Choi Sung, head of KleanNara's Home & Life division, said, "We hope this donation will help women lead healthier lives, even if just a little."

The donation ceremony held the previous day at the Community Chest of Korea Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by Head Choi, Kim Kyung-hee, head of social contribution at the Community Chest of Korea, and the head of external cooperation at Good Neighbors, Hyundai Joong.
