SK C&C Implements Insurance Pre-Underwriting and Digital Sales Automation for Heungkuk Life Insurance
SK C&C announced on the 7th that it has embarked on implementing a "digital-based insurance pre-underwriting and customized digital SFA (Sales Force Automation) for agents" for Heungkuk Life Insurance.
This project was initiated to respond to the rapidly changing digital insurance competitive environment and to secure digital sales competitiveness in the newly growing third insurance market, including disease, injury, and nursing care insurance.
SK C&C will first support digital-based pre-underwriting in non-life insurance style. By providing insurance underwriting results at the insurance subscription planning stage, it can reduce the time customers spend on enrollment. Agents will be able to immediately verify the customer's eligibility for insurance products before application using pre-notified and confirmed medical history information. Previously, insurance contracts were made after a separate underwriting process following the first premium payment after the insurance application.
The digital SFA for agents is a one-stop digital insurance support service that handles all customer insurance tasks in the sales field. During customer consultations, it recommends customized insurance products while simultaneously verifying customer registration information and supports quick insurance product design changes according to additional customer requests.
Additionally, when changing coverage, it recalculates premiums in real time and compares premiums by coverage segment to help customers make rational insurance choices. It highlights error items such as procedural guidelines and limit checks to prevent agent errors and applies page transitions and a highly readable UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) tailored to agents' insurance work flow.
SK C&C is also reorganizing the system-based environment to support integrated insurance pre-underwriting and digital SFA. The sales support system based on web and applications will be integrated into one, enabling perfect customer insurance support on any digital device such as PC, mobile, and smart pads.
The digital SFA is linked with the insurance underwriting system (EUS) to support rapid disease risk assessment in the insurance sales field. When medical history information is entered into the digital SFA, the underwriting system immediately provides risk assessment and underwriting decision information for diseases, and separately manages disclosure information and disease underwriting information according to the type of customer disease.
