"Decrease in Blood Donors, Blood Supply Shortage"... Ulsan City Launches 'Life-Saving Love Blood Donation' Campaign
Blood Donation Event Held for the First Time This Year at City Hall Plaza on the 29th
Ulsan City will hold a "Life-Saving Love Blood Donation Event" on Thursday the 29th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the City Hall plaza.
Due to population aging and low birth rates, the number of blood donors has been decreasing every year, and group blood donations decline during winter vacation in the cold season. The seasonal impact of the winter cold wave also makes blood supply management difficult.
During this time, Ulsan City officials and employees of related organizations have decided to participate in the blood donation event to overcome the blood supply crisis and promote a culture of blood donation.
An official from Ulsan City said, "We are grateful to the employees who have participated in blood donation first during every blood supply crisis," and added, "We hope this event will revitalize blood donation in the region amid the winter blood supply crisis."
