Korea Technology Finance Corporation Appoints Lee Sang-chang as New Director
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced on the 21st that Lee Sang-chang, former head of the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, has been appointed as the new standing director. Lee Sang-chang, born in 1966, graduated from Daegu Neungin High School and Yeungnam University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He earned a master's degree in Metallurgical Materials from Yeungnam University and completed doctoral coursework in New Drug Development at Chungnam National University.
He began his public service career in 1993 and has held positions such as Director of Investment Recovery Management Division and Director of Operations Support Division at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, head of the Daejeon-Sejong Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and head of the Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration. Having devoted nearly 30 years of his public service career primarily to supporting small and medium enterprises, he is regarded as a suitable candidate for the director position at Kibo, a comprehensive support organization for small and medium venture businesses.

He will be responsible for venture investment, support for venture companies, asset management, and other related duties, with a term lasting two years until February 20, 2026.
