A man in California, USA, was arrested by the police for illegally storing over 200 firearms and 1 million rounds of ammunition at his home.
Recently, foreign media including Business Insider reported that California judicial authorities arrested a man identified as A, who possessed a large quantity of illegal weapons. A, a resident of Richmond, California, is accused of illegally storing 248 firearms and 1 million rounds of ammunition at his residence.
The police discovered 11 military machine guns, 133 pistols, 37 rifles, 60 assault rifles, 7 shotguns, and 3,000 high-capacity magazines at A’s home. Additionally, 20 silencers and 4 flares were found. Several grenades were also discovered, but according to the bomb disposal unit’s investigation, the grenades were confirmed to be deactivated.
The California Department of Justice also released photos taken inside A’s home. His house was filled with machine guns, rifles, and ammunition boxes, resembling a small armory. However, the pathway or reason for A’s possession of such a large number of weapons has not yet been disclosed. The Department of Justice has also not revealed specific details about A’s identity.
