Starbucks Surpasses 12 Million Reward Members... "Earn Extra Stars"
Additional Star Accumulation Event for One Week Starting from the 19th
Starbucks announced on the 18th that it will hold an event from the 19th to the 25th to celebrate reaching 12 million cumulative members in its customer loyalty program, 'Starbucks Rewards,' by awarding 3 additional stars for each beverage purchase during the week.
Starbucks Rewards is a service that offers various benefits to customers who use Starbucks Cards. Since its launch in September 2011, the program recently reached 12 million cumulative members. This milestone was achieved just five months after surpassing 11 million members in September last year, marking the shortest time to reach an additional one million members.
The rapid growth in Starbucks Rewards membership is attributed to the strengthening of various customized benefits for registered members. Since last year, Starbucks has been diversifying customer benefits in a personalized manner while enhancing the convenience of its proprietary application.
