Support for Renovation Costs of Jongno-gu Facilities to Enhance Convenience for Apartment Residents
160 Million Won Budget Invested to Create Comfortable Residential Environment and Ensure Resident Safety
Applicable to Apartment Complexes with 20 or More Households, Submission of Required Documents and Evidence by March 13 After Approval from Residents' Representative Meeting
Jongno-gu (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) is promoting the '2024 Apartment Support Project' to create a pleasant residential environment and ensure residents' safety.
This project supports 40-70% of the maintenance costs for common facilities within apartment complexes to improve residents' convenience. The total support budget for this year is 160 million KRW.
The target is apartment complexes with 20 or more households in the area. However, apartments that have not passed the usage inspection by December 31 of the previous year or facilities that are still within the defect repair responsibility period are excluded.
Representative examples of the support project include ‘opening fences or passageways and installing/maintaining related facilities,’ ‘renovation of multipurpose facilities for residents’ shared use,’ ‘maintenance of restrooms and children's playgrounds open to nearby residents,’ and ‘tree planting.’
Applications must be submitted to the Housing Management Division in person or by mail from February 14 to March 13 by 6 p.m., along with required documents and evidence after approval by the residents' representative meeting. Applications are also accepted via email to the person in charge, and the document forms must be downloaded from the district office website.
Jongno-gu will conduct document reviews and on-site inspections, thoroughly examining the project's feasibility, legality, and appropriateness of cost estimation. Selected complexes will be individually notified in April after the review. For more details, please contact the Housing Administration Team of the Housing Management Division.
